Heating sleeve

Bild
I just wrapped a titan sheet 0,5mm x 7mm around the lower part of a vapcap to expand the mass. When ur doing it the whole sheet metal should touch the cap. When u heat it, just use your torch on the sheet metal part.  First click should be enough, cause the heat needs more time to travel (just try). More mass means longer heating time, but also FAT hits! Too much for me but maybe u will like it. PEACE

The Italian

I sandet down a fusilli noodle and sticked it into an glass tube...super smooth not so tasty! Other materials work too. if your noodle moves take two o-rings. It should be away from the tip! I dont think more instructions are needet :) PEACE

Thermal separation

with this mod were getting a thermal separation between a metal stem and the tip. In other words our stem doesn't get hot anymore. I just put an glas tube between the tip and the stem. Glas has a low heat conductivity, so the heat stays in the cap and doesnt travel into the stem too fast. examples for heat conductivity Glass: ca.0,8 Wood: ca.0,14 (glas alternative) Stainless steel: ca.15  Titan: ca.22 copper: ca.300 Plus our stem gets longer and the condenser doesn't go into the tip anymore which is another heat source we eliminate. The adapter between the glas and the stem is the harder part to build. But with a little trick we get it done without an lathe machine. Build this at your own risk and only if u know what ur doing ;) -DIY- Adapter (left) you need: -Tube 8mm/6mm (Titan or stainless steal) -high temp o-rings 6mmx1mm -Dremel with a ca. 1mm cutting disc -drill 5,8mm -caliper+black marker -saw -file / san
